We were in the middle of May, the sea was calm and the Corsicans took advantage of the beaches before the mass arrival of summer tourists! Away from the hustle and bustle of the market, its smells and its good local products. Y & C got ready for their wedding in a shattering area on the edge of the mediterranean. I love the French art of living but even more the Corsican art of living! This island of beauty is rich because of the diversity of its natural heritage and its local products! We were lost the day before the wedding on a beach, this beach belonged to an old fisherman. It was full of nets ready to go back to sea. At the end of the beach an old shed with kitchen utensils rusted by the sea and full of dust. On a son was spread laundry still wet from its washing. We could hear far and wide. It was the owner of the beach who invited us to dinner. A friendly evening, simple as we like to prepare for the day after tomorrow.
Y & C are very close friends of mine and for them I accepted the challenge of being their wedding photographer, bridesmaids of honor and bridesmaids! I don’t hide it is very complicated to be the wedding photographer of one of your best friends. We can’t stop crying at every moment of the wedding! Y. is an ex model, I knew and had already had the opportunity to photography her several times for her portfolio. I know her face and how to shoot her, certainly also for that she insisted that I be her wedding photographer.
THE WEDDING VENUE IN CORSICA
Corsica is definitely a very beautiful destination wedding place. A blend of Provencal wedding and the French riviera and a little authenticity. A wedding with your feet in the water and the opportunity to dance under a starry sky is truly an exceptional experience.
A SPECIAL SOUVENIR OF THIS WEDDING IN CORSICA
For a friend all the moments of a wedding of a person we love is important. However, I was able to fully enjoy the wedding once the cameras were dropped and the party started.
