La Dolce Vita in Paradise: A Dreamy Multi-Day Wedding in Phuket, Thailand

The Vanderdilt Estate, Phuket

MEET THE COUPLE

After three days spent side by side, I feel like I know them a little more, not just V&V as a couple, but as individuals, with their quirks, their glances, their shared silences, and joyful sparks. The formal layers have gently faded, giving way to something softer, more genuine. We’re no longer just working together, we’re creating together.

There’s a quiet joy in that kind of connection. We begin to anticipate each other’s rhythm. The moments flow more freely. The laughter is real. And the images become more than photographs, they become fragments of who they are.

With this trust, something beautiful happens: I’m no longer documenting a wedding, I’m telling their story. Varisa and Vong gave me full freedom to follow intuition, to chase light, to capture emotion without boundaries. It’s rare and precious, and I cherish it deeply.

This is where my creativity finds its voice.
And theirs, its echo.

MY VISION FOR A&C’S WEDDING

By the time we reached the final day, I knew them. Truly.
Not just their aesthetic preferences or their ceremony plans but their energy, their dynamic, their way of moving through the day together. With V&V, I had to find that delicate balance between being present with them, enjoying the beauty of the moment, and creating images that would feel both refined and deeply alive.

It felt natural. Effortless, even. Creating with them was a joy.
Varisa’s creativity shaped everything , every detail of the wedding had been imagined, curated, and infused with intention long before the day began. Her vision, paired with Vong’s warmth and ease, gave me a rich canvas to play with.

So I didn't just photograph their story, I built around it.
Around the textures of the Vanderbilt Estate in Phuket, the softness of the air, the weight of the fabrics, the glow of candlelight. Around seven gowns, each imagined and styled by the bride herself, flowing through every corner of this iconic location like a living installation of style and memory.

This wedding wasn’t about spectacle. It was about intimacy made majestic.
A creative dialogue between us, built on trust, shared taste, and a love for elegance that never needed to shout.

And through it all, we created something more than beautiful imagery.
We created a feeling. One that lingers, still.

Rehearsal Dinner

For their rehearsal dinner, V&V chose an intimate experience to honor their closest circle. A single, beautifully styled table for 30 guests was set beneath the stars on a private beach. Guests were welcomed by an iconic staircase descending to the sand, where a Michelin-starred dinner awaited, toes in the sand, hearts full, under the Thai sky.

Wedding

The wedding day was a timeless dream, held at the breathtaking Vanderbilt Estate in Phuket. V&V created a one-of-a-kind celebration where European sophistication met tropical warmth. In the estate’s romantic gardens, an intimate candlelit table was set, surrounded by Italian cuisine, classical beauty, and the soaring voice of a lyrical singer, an atmosphere that was uniquely theirs.

Brunch

To close this extraordinary chapter, V&V chose to share one final moment, just for them. A private brunch: exclusive, elegant, and serene. After seven days together, I created a tailored, creative photo session designed to freeze time, to hold on to the magic for just a little longer. A pause. A memory. A breath before the next chapter begins.
