IN MONTMARTRE

I got up earlier that morning, I wanted to stroll and see Montmartre come to life little by little before starting the pre wedding photo session and meeting Chantelle and Thomas. I sat on the terrace of a bakery with a croissant with hot butter and a very dark and smoking coffee. I watched the passers-by in the street, the baker smiling at her first customers and the old regular reading his newspaper sitting next to me. The light was soft that morning and life was taking place little by little in the district of Parisian bohemian.

WITH AN INTERNATIONAL COUPLE

The Abbesses metro exit makes a lot of sense to me. I settled in Paris following a summer love. By making me discover the capital, he had fun making me do treasure hunts, he recommended me to stop at the Abbesses and take the interminable stairs to get outside. This spiral staircase that makes you spin your head without really seeing the end. Then the light goes down the stairs which indicates the end of this tunnel. On the walls the history of Paris which takes you on a spiral through time and then the light and the breeze outside, in a popular square animated by a carousel of children's laughter, a newspaper merchant and his cafes. It was there that I found Chantelle and Thomas at the exit of this metro, whose metal sculpture in art deco style is so complex and timeless. A metro had just dropped off its passengers there, they came out of the metro station to spread all over the neighborhood, the only embrace facing my lovebirds leaning against the Paris metro map forgetting the time and time of our meet for the pre wedding shoot in Paris in each other's arms.

PHOTOSHOOT ATMOSPHERE

We were in Montmartre for their pre wedding photoshoot in Paris on weekends few days before their wedding in Provence at Château de Robernier. During the weekend Montmartre is always full of people and tourists. I love the atmosphere of this neighborhood between street, artists who stop people to draw their caricature, tourists discovering the neighborhood and Parisians who hang on the coffee terraces reading their newspapers.
