A WEDDING IN FRENCH RIVIERA
I spent all my childhood on the French Riviera, growing up between sea and mountains: the beach in summer and the ski slopes in winter. The French Riviera is an incredible place to live where nature is generous and a perfect destination for your wedding. There is as much glamor with the Cannes festival and authenticity with the old villages and offers us a variety of landscapes.

A MULTICULTURAL COUPLE
Edward is English and he fell in love with Catherine, a very elegant Persian beauty. They chose the French Riviera to reunite their friends and family with a welcome dinner in the village of Biot. The village of Biot is known for its painters but it is also a village full of charm. Catherine has a lot of Iranian charisma and Edward English elegance. It was during a welcome dinner overlooking the village and giving an incredible sunset for an aperitif with friends.

The Bastide du Roy is rich in its exteriors with its various gardens to welcome welcome cocktail, and the two ceremonies of Edward and Catherine. La Bastide du Roy is a very friendly place which overlooks the village of Biot. Perfect for dinner under the stars. The Catherine and Edward’s wedding was inspired by the Persian traditions. The Sofreh Aghd ceremony is rich in meaning. A table is set there with several symbolic elements which should bring happiness to the couple. Iranian wedding is very much punctuated by traditional dances and music.

My favorite moment in traditional Iranian weddings is the knife dance at the wedding cake. The knife is surrounded by a white ribbon entrusted to women close to the bride. Catherine and Edward's knife is beautifully decorated with silver and a white silk ribbon. The atmosphere is then very festive and to see his women dancing their traditional dance to pass the knife between them to prevent the groom from recovering it and a very joyful moment to share with them.
