AT LE LAURENT

Paris is the capital of love, its timeless streets and architecture, cafes and romantic stories to be seen on every street corner. Paris is the perfect place to choose to do an elopement in Paris. This city offers the opportunity for a beautiful romantic stroll along the Seine with soft light for timeless couple photos. Indeed, Paris is for me an open-air museum, all the districts tell a unique story. The elopement is a more intimate wedding format, focused on the love story of the couple and the couple. It’s the choice of our couple, after more than 10 years of love story, after two children, he finally said yes in the intimacy of this iconic address very close to the Champs Élysée which welcomed poetic men to their table, the restaurant Le Laurent, with its private lounges and terrace, was the perfect place in the heart of Paris to create this romantic bubble for a day.

MA RENCONTRE WITH THE COUPLE

These two met on vacation in a village in Portugal one summer. They lived what is called in French an amour de vacances. After several letter exchanges and after spending several consecutive years ending up in this same village in the summer. Here they are now reunited after having lived 10 years of love and being happy parents of 2 children. They did not want to spread their love in front of a hundred guests, they wanted this intimate moment as if to celebrate two their years spent together to remember common memories and build even stronger and more ambitious projects.

INSPIRATION ELOPEMENT

They wanted a romantic, modern and urban element. Their floral designer, Decorelle and their wedding planner, Dream Weddings Europe imagined for them a ceremony on the balcony overlooking a green view in the heart of Paris. The floral compositions are both chic and modern in the elegance of the lightness of the arrangement of the flowers. This little bacon was perfectly the ideal place for their exchange of vows.

THEIR ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

As a destination wedding photographer I’m used to small weddings and this elopement was my first. It allowed me to focus only on the couple and approach the shoot in a more editorial way. We have far less to think about or organize than for a wedding. It was hot that day and we decided to prepare the groom in the restaurant's wine cellar. Surrounded by all these beautiful bottles but also we appreciate the freshness of the cellar to don the tailor-made suit from Scabal. My favorite moment and definitely the first look. After 10 years of love there is a lot of bonding that takes place in the couple. No need to talk a lot, lovers know each other by heart. So when they saw each other for the first time and they kissed I couldn't help but let myself be overcome by the moment that these two were living.
