It was a June morning, the smell of rain in the air was felt. In my car on the way to Château de la Tour Vaucros I take advantage of the landscape waking up in the mist that evaporates when the sun's rays arrive. At the front door of the estate, we could already hear the laughter and the plunges of the guys already in the pool. I love weddings at the Château de la Tour Vaucros, which offers a warm wedding venue in Provence in the style of a family vacation home. Danny surrounded by his groomsmen his half-soaked vows by hand trying to concentrate on re-reading them. The girls were far away, locked in a cocooning and girly atmosphere in the freshness of the chapel. They were laughing and enjoying these last moments of Emma’s Mademoiselle life. They celebrated Emma with a glass of champagne in hand, macaroons, all dressed in a pink robes and enjoy l’art de vivre à la française.

It’s in a family house in Provence a few days before the wedding that I meet Emma and Danny. A quiet moment to get to know them and especially understand their two cultures. Emma has the English elegance of her father and the beauty of her Indian mother. The Emma and Danny’s wedding is also the union of these two cultures. They know each other since high school and the freshness of their meeting is still in their eyes when they look at each other.
A RUSTIC WEDDING
IN THE PROVENCAL VINEYARDS
All weddings have a common wish, not to see the rain as a wedding guest for this big day. The weather was uncertain that day, the clouds passed and didn’t stay. However, to fully enjoy the wedding moment, the couple setup their wedding ceremony in a room inside the Château de la Tour Vaucros. It was the end of the ceremony, the rain had left traces of its passage drops of rain remained on the leaves of the vineyards of the estate. The Château de la Tour Vaucros was the ideal place for our two adventurers with such contrasting cultures. Together, they imagined with the help of their Wedding Planner, Wep en Provence a wedding in their image. Emma and Danny wanted to reunite their families scattered around the world in a friendly and warm place. During the preparations their loved one was near to prepare. The place offers several very comfortable rooms with very Provencal decor. Laughter resounded between the walls and lived the rooms of the wedding place of the Château de la Tour Vaucros.

CORAL WEDDING INSPIRATION
The nature that surrounds the estate, the textures of the old stones, the smells of the breeze all inspired authenticity for their rustic wedding. Emma and Danny wanted to extend nature in their vine themed wedding decoration. Wine barrels for their ceremony and wooden lanterns as centerpieces to ensure a sober and authentic decoration. Discreet and sparkling it’s coral colors that the rustic wedding of Emma was taking shape. Dan couldn’t be imagined more elegant in his tailor-made suit.

Emma have an exotic and fragile beauty at the same time, of an embodied elegance. The clean and simple lines of her Sottero and Mdgley wedding dress accompanied the curves of her body was enough to sublimate her. She was elegant and in the simplicity of the beauty of Provence.

I loved discovering their two cultures. Emma and Dan's weddings were so rich! Photographing weddings is also an opportunity for me to be close to the cultures that exist in this world. Emma's family came from both India and England. Cradled between the frantic sounds of Indian music and the sobriety of English humor. It was obvious that I wanted to show that in their wedding reportage. Emma and Dan are the modernity of these two worlds! The colors of India translated by the coral color of the bridesmaids' dresses and the sobriety of England with Dan's tailor-made costume and Emma's simple design dress. The smell of jasmine accompanied us along the cocktail, moistened by the rain that had fallen a few hours earlier. Provence remains a romantic destination regardless of the weather.
