A TROPICAL WEDDING IN BALI
On each trip as destination wedding photographer to Bali I take the pleasure of discovering a village, a street, a restaurant. I was never lost in this silent part of the island. Life is to the rhythm of the locals, the local village wakes up to the sound of prayers and morning rituals, the streets smell of incense and in the evening at eight o'clock the small neighborhood restaurants sell their latest nasi goren. This is where Cécile and Aurélien spend their holidays in the family home in Bali. A villa by the water, overlooking a deserted beach with north sand shining in the sunshine.

Cécile and Aurélien fell in love with Australia, this is where they live their married life in Sydney. With their family from all over the world, they wished to have a French-style, tropical-style wedding at Aurélien’s dad’s holiday home in Bali. We met a few days before their wedding on a deserted black sand beach to get to know each other for their pre wedding photoshoot. These two took advantage of the light of the sunrise and this isolated beach to rehearse their first dance. Barefoot on the wet sand dancing under the rhythm of the waves our lovers took full advantage of their time together before the big day.

INSPIRATION WEDDING
Cécile and Aurélien wanted an elegant, wild and tropical wedding. It was with their Floral Designer, Bloomz Bali Weddings and their Wedding Planner, Call Me madame that they imagined a tropical and elegant wedding in Bali of white floral arrangements with pieces of wood seen on the ocean for a warm and friendly wedding. I imagined their wedding around their two personality, I wanted to achieve a first look by the beach and a couple session in rice fields for the tropical side and thus create a coherence in the whole report.

The wedding of Cécile and Aurélien brings together all that I love about a destination wedding, the French conviviality and the landscapes of a wedding destination. Cécile and Aurélien are generous in sharing, I loved every moment spent with them, both during the preparations, the first look, the ceremony and its rituals, the couple session, the cocktail and the reception. These two are surrounded by a lot of love and I loved taking these moments of accomplice and love in pictures.
