ENGAGEMENT SESSION AMIDST THE ARCHITECTURE OF PARIS
A ROMANTIC PHOTO SESSION
IN PARIS AT ILE DE LA CITE
As a Parisian Photographer, I love coming to get lost in the heart of Paris and specially for an engagement photoshoot on this square which splits the western part of the island of the city in two of a paved road to let in the light that comes to illuminate the stones on the floors that are suddenly turn into a perfect natural reflector for perfect light. Pétanque players have on hand glass of red wine and sausage platter, cheese and French baguette. Time stands still here punctuated by the café terraces, of its customers and their waiter making their serving platter waltz with their white porcelain cup that smoke the smell of French caffeine.
MA RENCONTRE
WITH A MULTICULTURAL COUPLE
I love to walk with my couples here to capture the Parisian love between its Haussmannian buildings and its neighborhood life. This is where I meet Jess and Lukas, a newlywed couple. She is Australian and she fell under the Mediterranean charm, dark with the Italian accent of her lover. With her golden Vanessa Paradis look, Jess looked at Lukas with a lot of love. It was a real pleasure to photograph these two for their engagement photo shoot there with their dog who accompanies them absolutely everywhere and who took the game to pose in front of my lens.
THE ENGAGEMENT
PHOTOSHOOT ATMOSPHERE
We often cross neighborhoods of our city to get to our offices without really taking the time to appreciate every detail: the storefronts of shops, wrought iron doors or sit down and listen to the life of the neighborhood. There was a slight breeze of wind this morning which was entwined in the blond hair of Jess to let a few strands land on his face. I love these moments of intimacy that I offer myself with my lovebirds, because it’s a moment for me far from the stress of wedding to get to know them: to know their passion, their daily life and this little je ne sais quoi that for the other, it’s make him/her indispensable. A morning of sweetness, just to of them, stick to each other to be under the benevolent gaze of our capital.
