I have always admired the Thaï culture of which I’m so proud. It is full of tradition and respect. When I was child I met someone who said to me "You are very lucky to have two cultures so you can keep the best of both", since this meeting this sentence follows me and that’s why transmit my culture through a photoshoot was important to me. For the beauty of the traditional thaï wedding ceremony’s accessories, the outfits but also the beauty of the traditions and their meanings. I was born in Thailand and I was cradled between French culture and Thai culture. So succeeding in becoming a luxury destination wedding photographer in Phuket and especially at Anantara Villa takes on its full meaning for me.

The traditional Thai wedding ceremony has a lot of steps but here is one of my favorites that I wanted to immortalize. It’s isolated on a teak island that the florist, I am Flower and the Wedding Planner, The Wedding Bliss imagined the traditional Thai wedding ceremony. This place is perfect for an intimate wedding surrounded by lotus flowers and the freshness of the lake. The seashell ceremony is very strong in meaning, it’s the moment when the couple is linked with a white cord, knee both close together and when family members and relatives come one by one to present their wishes of happiness by pouring them the sea water on their joined hands lying in a magnificent seashell. The family is very important in Thailand and this moment of the exchange of vows is very symbolic. For me, as Phuket Thaï Wedding Photographer capturing the expressions of family members at this time is very significant because I know that it’s also for the couple. This moment is for me the most beautiful of a Thai wedding ceremony, it takes to the heart and shows the beauty of the Thai traditions of the importance of the respect between the generations of the gestures of benevolence of the grand parents towards the small children and small children to grandparents. This ceremony is for me the transmission of a transgenerational heritage.
